Well, it’s been an incredibly busy last few months as David and I have prepared for the Through the Looking Glass, Dimly Project. There have been skype meetings to Andrew in Australia, regular meetings here in Edinburgh with our project partners Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Stills and of course our fantastic venue The Old Ambulance Depot. Rosita and I have been working hard on developing the Braille and audio guide interpretation materials and I’ve been pretty busy with purchasing all the bits and bobs for the exhibition install, recruiting volunteers and advertising our programme of events.

Speaking of which, our Photography Workshop for Sighted People has completely booked out (!) however there are still a few spots left on the Photography Workshop for Partially and Non-Sighted People, details can be found here.

We’re delighted to announce that Andrew Follows and his guide dog Eamon have now arrived in Edinburgh for the project too. Many thanks to Gavin Neate from Guide Dogs Edinburgh who kindly drove Andrew, Eamon, myself and Morven (who’s been helping film a documentary on Andrew) to and from the airport.

That’s it for now folks, looking forward to seeing you at the exhibition opening on Sat 4th at 5pm!
