Melbourne | 2006 (pre-Contemporary Art Exchange)
Steady was a youth arts project organised by myself and fellow students Alarna Power, Susan Dragon, Natalie Bode, Melinda Pollock, Shelley Cormick, from Deakin University’s Bachelor of Contemporary Arts programme. We worked in partnership with the City of Knox to stage an exhibition for young people about economical, social and environmental sustainability as part of the 2006 City of Knox Stringybark Festival.
The exhibition on display in the council foyer between 18th and 25th October was funded by a grant awarded by the City of Knox Works. We also ran a scarecrow making workshop for families as part of the festival.
