Berlin | 14 September 2013
Photographers Jan Bölsche (Berlin) and Rosita McKenzie (Edinburgh) ran a free 5 hour blind photography workshop at Supermarkt where they shared their unique photographic techniques and skills with both beginners and professionals. Both sighted and non-sighted participants alike discovered alternative approaches to image making both conceptually and practically through experimenting with camera equipment in new and innovative ways, and using accessible post-processing software and keyboard shortcuts to view, edit and process their images.
The workshop was a wonderful opportunity for Jan, Rosita and I to deliver our first workshop together, and a challenge for Rosita and I to test the boundaries of our practices by delivering our first bi-lingual workshop in another country!
