Melbourne based blind photographer Andrew Follows and Glenn Matthews, Lecturer in Electrical and Computer Engineering at RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) present their research on a digital camera voice assistance device they have collaborated on over the past 2 years. This is the first time this new technology will be presented outside of Australia and will offer audiences the opportunity to view the device prototype that will enable people with vision impairment and other disabilities access to modern photographic equipment.
